Kaylene Lyons, DVM

Dr. Kaylene Lyons is originally from Olney, MD and has lived in many parts of the country. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Animal Science from Berry College in 2013 and then graduated with her DVM from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018. She previously practiced mixed animal medicine in Perry, New York for two years prior to moving back to her home state of Maryland. She joined the Brookeville team in March 2020. Dr. Lyons has a keen interest in providing geriatric patient care, peaceful and humane euthanasia, surgery, and dermatology.

In her spare time Dr. Lyons enjoys traveling, hiking, knitting, reading, and is an active volunteer for the Montgomery County Farm Bureau and Montgomery County Agricultural Fair Dairy Goat Department. She enjoys spending time in her home in Frederick, MD with her yellow lab, Jumbie.
